'Water Beat' is a song about opening up your mouth and telling it like it is. The lyrics are written by Fern. Chris's drums were combined with (former) keys player Joab's chords to form the musical foundation.
We played this song live and captured the footage with a DSLR, iPad, Go Pro and Samsung phone. Then we mixed the music in Pro Tools and edited the video in Adobe Creative Suite. Enjoy!

“Your words can't come. They're not enough. You won't say more. You've said too much. Cause if you speak the freak you've been will open up and be seen”
Communication is key. How can we be brave enough to share ourselves? This song deals with the fear of opening up to someone else and sharing your inner self. Even when you start to open up you feel you may have gone too far, now they know too much, you are too exposed.. but to really understand ourselves and each other we have to trust, to share, and to open up. You are a Queen, You are a King, and these are your words. Speak it, say it. Let the words flow even if the tears fall!
